I suppose I could finally fill this out.
I'm Alex, a metalsmith from Akron, OH. Although I have a BFA in metalsmithing, I don't consider that my "field". I think that as a artist, you have to know how do work in all fields, and mediums, otherwise, when you have an idea for a piece, your fucked cause all you know is metal, or paint, or clay...
plus I like making whatever is in my head, and it's not usually made out of metal.

This sounds stuffy and pompus, fuck it!

I like making the stuff in my head so that I can actually touch it.

yes I do. I have learned that some countries don't allow some items coming in but as far as I know it's just Korea.
